Design and production of a UFO replica for the insurance brand Aegon, for its new campaign which opted for the representation of the future with this three-dimensional element measuring 4m high situated in the street Príncipe de Vergara, in front of the insurer’s headquarters.
The advertising agency Kitchen who manages the Aegon account asked us to build this decorative element. The UFO body measuring a 3m diameter was produced in poliespan with resin based exteriors painted metallic. A small methacrylite done as a ship cabin, wooden legs measuring 19mm with a heath of 2.50 coated with the same grey metallic paint and a ground-gripping system consisting of 2 steel plates to counterbalance therefore assuring the structure’s stability. Vinyl lettering with the brand’s locos and slogans. The lighting consisted of LED strips that ran around the perimeter as the UFO was activated and 13 RGB spotlights were reflect on the ground. The promotional action lasted for 5 days, from the 22nd to the 26th of September. Aegon approached the public to announce its new offices and to announce its new campaign "Ensure tomorrow" with which they welcome the future with renewed services for planning and financial advice.
