CLIENT : LATERAL THINKING The Barcelona Marathon is one of the year’s biggest sports events and Fira de Montjuïc hosts the Runner’s Fair alongside it. Nike naturally had to be there with a major new release: the presentation of the new Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%, a shoe with a more efficient design which generates 4% more speed in the stride. The booth design was 6 metres high covering an area of 200 m2 and featured a product exhibition area and a testing area equipped with treadmills along with an app developed by the brand to check the new model’s effectiveness. The problem was how to assemble the stand in record time: just five days. A challenging test for our exclusive Aluvision assembly system (modular aluminium frames which are lighter and more sustainable) which also enables decoration with materials such as plexiglass, polycarbonate and canvas. Nike’s innovation was as popular as the innovation in the assembly of its stand.
